TREAT YO SELF! Imported Lazzaroni Amaretto celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Italian Unification 1861-2011. I’m excited to try this excellent find from Total Wine in Redondo Beach. 

Made by an infusion of Amaretti Di Saronno cookies, this almond liqueur  is 24% alc/vol, was bottled in Saronno, Italy, and was rated 93 points by the Beverage Testing Institute. 

Not only is this the MOST DELICIOUS Amaretto I’ve ever tasted (had it on the rocks), but the commemorative tin and pouring spout is reminiscent of some Old World olive oil. And it really does taste like the Amaretti cookies!! I LOVE it!
